It's back..... again! Keep your diary's clear for the 29th and 30th of May 2010 cos Doubles Team Tournament is back with a vengence.
FORMATPlayers will need to pair up with a friend of their choice to form their team. Players may not join multiple teams. Each team will play 3 games on Saturday the 29th and 2 games on Sunday the 30th. Entry costs are $30 per person.
Opposing teams will be randomly selected and have 3 hours to complete their battle.
Due to the tight time constraints of the event games will not run into overtime and players / teams deliberately playing slow will be dealt with harshly.

Teams that are not at The Tin Soldier Penrith by the official start of each game or leave early (without prior consent) will forfeit the rest of the tournament.
FORCE ORGANISATIONEach player on a team must construct an army, chosen from any current Warhammer 40,000 Codex. There are no restrictions to the type of armies that can form a team.
The army must be fully painted and can have up to, but no more than 1000pts of units using the following Force Organisation Chart:

Compulsory: 1HQ, 2 Troops
Optional: 2 additional Troops, 2 Elite, 2 Fast Attack, 2 Heavy Support.
REGISTRATIONTeams can register at The Tin Soldier Penrith any day by paying their $30 entry fee and submitting their clearly detailed and typed army list at the same time. The cut off for registrations is Thursday the 27th of May.
There are only 44 player positions available so please sign up fast.
AWARDS- Doubles Team Champions: The team to score the most battle points at the end of the tournament.
- Doubles Team Artisans: The team who has the best painted army judged by the players and an independent panel.
- Doubles Team Heroes: The team that receives the highest sportsmanship score.

As a bonus to those with fully painted armies, The Tin Soldier Penrith will also be providing a 15% discount on all items paid in full during the days of the tournament.
NOTES- Using models from other Tin Soldier supported ranges is allowed provided they are clearly represented and authorised by Tournament Organisers on Registration, and adhere to the attached Model Policy.
- Any model found to be non WYSIWYG will be removed from play for the remainder of the tournament.
- If a rules dispute cannot be solved by referring to the relevant Codex or Rules Book then an umpire may be called in. Please note the umpires ruling is final.
- Limit of 1 prize per player
- Forge World / Imperial Armour units are not allowed, however players may still use Forge World models to represent a unit from their Codex.
- Model and Conduct policies will be in use and are attached to this flyer.
- Each Player will be required to bring the following to each and every game played in the tournament (please use as a check list):
- 5th Edition Rule Book.
- Current Codex.
- Official Codex Errata and FAQ's.
- Blast Markers, Templates and Counters.
- Dice.
- Measuring tape.
- 3x Objective Markers.
- 2x Clearly detailed and typed army lists (1 for you & 1 for your opponent).
