well there should be a game going in the next week or 2 so feel free to watch and ask questions, also i do have 2 armys currently able to be used, so if you want im willing to bring both down to the store and run you through the basics with those if you would like?

hey, i was just wondering how many players would be interested in playing in a large scale WoTR game. it would be a random game that i design eg a cross between a king slayer and top of the hill types. im just seeing if there is any interest and then i'll start planning if we get good feedback. so just post here and say your interested or talk to me in person.

cheers

AS much as I would like to see a stonking huge WoTR plastic Smaug, I reckon that GW would feel it's going over old ground (considering the metal one and they recently did the WH High Elf kit). I bet both the Drake and Stone Giant will be pricey metal models (powerful, rare units that have no upgrades).

Heya mark good to see you arrivede safe and sound in the UK ... hope you had a good trip ...

Onto War of the Ring ...

I am always up for a mega type game ... last 2 a side 4000pts was a lot of fun Smiley Much carnage to be had on all sides Smiley
At the moment I think my easterlings are a little stale ... I pretty much worked out their best lists ... as such might be time to get the Dwarves up and running ...

good to see your back up and running ben Smiley i always bring my uruk-hai's with me when i come down to the store, so im always ready for a game or 10 lol. i've been trying to get shane to come and have a game but he doesn't seem like playing at the moment : / oh well, well hopefully you'll come and have a game lol. im not going to be there for games night this friday, though i'll be there during the day but i need to live around 6 or so, the following week i should be doing a demo game with craig, he said he'll bring down his uruk-hai and i said i'll run him through making a list and etc and show him how to play and yeh so we should have a few new players soon Smiley

Yep safe and sound in the UK. Managed to organise a car and a flat (but not a job) in under two weeks!
No games of WotR for me for a while - it's all still over there! I'll have to wait a few months yet.

It'll be good to hear how dwarves get on - tough troops with no magic.

Cheers

I`m sure the job will come through in no time ...

Yeah the no magic part is certainly a concern ... although i probly draft in a magic user or 2 through the ally system it will still be tough ... The high defense should stop me from receiving too many casulties but still it would be nice to have some kind of anti magic ... Smiley
