Just a quick post to place some updates and rules questions prior to the tournament. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask either via posting here, PM, or email.

Q) Can I use Forgeworld / Imperial Armour rules eg: Death Corps & Red Scorpions?
A) No. As everybody does not have easy access to these rules they are not permitted.

Q) Can Imperial Guard issue orders to their team mates units?
A) No. Refer to the current errata.
    
Q) Can my team mate place his units in my transporst?
A) No. Treat your team as 2 seperate individual armies.

Q) Can my independant characters join my team mates units?
A) No. Refer above.

Q) Do my unit's buffs (eg: regimental standard) boost my team mates units?
A) No. As a general rule (as there are so many posibilities in this format) positive buffs apply to your army only EG: Regimental Standard while negative effects EG: Doom, Null Zone will apply to your entire team.

Q) Can my 1000pt element take allies? eg: Imperial Guard with Daemon Hunter allies.
A) No. Stick to 1 Codex per team element.

Q) Can Grey Knights be fielded with a team mate who is using Space Marines even though the Codex says I can't?
A) Yes you can. Anything goes as far as what armies can team up with.

Q) If my models are not based can I field them?
A) No, No, & NO! All models must be mounted on the bases supplied with the miniature. This particularly applies to skimmers not being based on their skimmer bases EG: Land Speeders and Necron Destroyers. Also you can use your 2nd editio Terminators on 25mm bases, no you can't use current Terminators on 25mm bases. This also applies to any and all older edition models that fall into this situation.
