This is a pre-booked event only. The doors will not be open on the night so be sure to organise in advance!

28mm historical gaming only (hence the title). This means any 28mm miniatures historical game. The store stocks several, and miniatures are beginning to appear in the Penrith store on the shelves and of course anything stocked in Sydney can be brought in. Check with Rowan or Dennis for details as usual.

Initially the interest is with Warhammer Ancient Battles (and its huge collection of supplementary rulebooks) but we are also looking at any games from the following list to begin with:

  • Warhammer Ancient Battles
  • Warhammer English Civil War
  • The Great War
  • Legends of the Old West
  • Legends of the High Seas
  • Battlefield Evolution: World at War
  • Napoleon

This list is by no means exhaustive. If you have an historical 28mm scale game please bring it along. No 15mm or other scales are allowed: this night is specifically for players who enjoy gaming with 28mm scale figures.

Just a reminder that this event begins this Friday, so if you are interested in 28mm historical gaming and have an opponent and figures please let us know if you are attending. The shop will be closed on the night, you have to prebook. We will not be letting people in off the street.

We'll be kicking it off from around 6pm-ish.

You can book a gaming space as described above.

Due to rescheduling of store events, we have had to reshuffle the 28mm Historical Night. This was unfortunately out of our control and we apologise for any confusion we have caused.

From March 6 we will be running every second Saturday in the Penrith store. Nothing else has changed, bring whatever historical stuff you like, as long as it is in 28mm scale.

Currently the main interests seem to be Warhammer Ancients, Crusader (various periods) and Napoleonic systems like Napoleon and Black Powder.
